Reflections, is based on a photograph I had taken of a piece of tinfoil that reflected broken pieces of previous art works hung up on my walls. In this large scale abstracted painting, I focused on each reflection, colour and detail. The final product took four years to complete. Reflections, explores my journey through abstraction; an art form that was unfamiliar to me at the time. This work was a catalyst into many more abstract pieces in my artistic career.
