With this series I was exploring the different ways that I could use the punch needle. What started out as an experiment, later turned into a series I was heavily invested in. I was exploring the relationship that humans have to nature. Some pieces have a plant in the wild, while other have a domesticated house plant. I found it interesting to see how the humans relationship to nature changes. Each work has a portrait of someone important from my life. Similar to my body of work, this series is personal, with the portraits ranging in different levels of abstraction.
