This series is an ongoing project that I started once Covid-19 began. I had found myself at home with a lot more time on my hands. I decided to use that time to teach myself how to cook. Throughout that process I asked a lot of questions- questions that the average person probably knew the answer to. I embroidered these questions on my grocery receipts. I Only Have Salted Butter, is a textile and text based work that pushes the boundaries of what can be stitched on.
